Terms of service

Using Beau

• You can use Beau if you're 13 or older. If you're under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian.
• You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Don't share your sign-in with anyone you wouldn't trust with your pet's records.
• Use Beau for your own pets, not to provide veterinary services to others.

Beau is not a vet

• Beau provides general health information. It is not a substitute for veterinary care.
• If your pet is in distress, call a veterinarian or an emergency clinic immediately.
• You take responsibility for decisions you make about your pet's health, including those informed by Beau.

Subscriptions

• Free accounts get a starter quota. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically until canceled.
• You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are processed by Apple or Google through their store-side refund flows. Email beaupetapp@gmail.com if you need help.

Your content

• You own everything you put into Beau, including pet profiles, photos, notes, and records.
• You give Beau permission to store and process that content so we can show it back to you and answer your questions.

What's not allowed

• Don't use Beau to harm yourself, your pet, or anyone else.
• Don't try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Don't use Beau to provide professional veterinary advice to third parties.

Liability

• Beau is provided "as is." We do our best to be accurate, but AI can make mistakes, and we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for your pet's health.
• To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to what you paid for Beau in the past 12 months.

Ending your account

You can close your account anytime. We can suspend or end an account that violates these terms or puts other users at risk.

Changes

If we update these terms, we'll notify you in the app before the change applies. Continued use means you accept the update.
