Who's behind Beau
Hi, I'm Teo. Beau is the app I needed.
I grew up with two golden retrievers, Bella and Luna. They shaped how I see animals, they're the reason I went vegetarian five years ago, and they're the reason Beau exists. They have both passed now.

Why I built it
Caring for them, I kept hitting the same gap. When something seemed off, my options were guessing from search results that contradicted each other, or booking a vet or televet appointment that was expensive or hard to get quickly. Pet parents deserve real answers, with the context of their own pet, before it gets to that point.
Their records were scattered too: vaccine cards in a drawer, lab results with whichever vet we saw last, medications and symptoms kept in my head. I wanted one place for all of it, that also knows when it's time for the vet. So I built it.
How Beau's answers work
- Answers are written by AI models from established AI providers, using your pet's own profile, history and records.
- For details that need to be exact, Beau checks published veterinary references.
- Every health answer ends with an urgency level: low urgency, worth watching, or see a vet.
- If a message sounds like an emergency, emergency vet and poison line numbers appear before anything else.
- Beau never prescribes medication, and your conversations are not used to train AI models.
Tested and tuned for safety and accuracy
Before launch, Beau was tested on realistic pet health conversations, including emergencies, and tuned for safety and accuracy. I test it again before any change to the AI behind it.
What Beau is not
Beau gives general pet health information. It is not a veterinary service and never replaces your vet. If you're worried about your pet, call your vet.
